We’re rolling into the end of March now, the school year is coming to toward its conclusion and do you know what that means? Spring! Time for less layers and more time in the sun. Our favorite time of year as students.
Bright, pastels and neons that reflect the season are a must in your daily wardrobe. This Spring 2016’s colors of the season are Buttercup yellow, Lavender, Baby Blue, Peach, Rose and lastly, Royal Blue, according to Pantone Inc., who reported to InStyle, the popular, up-to-date magazine. These are great colors to compliment the tans everyone is soon to have.
Bright colors are not the only new rave. T-shirt dresses, strappy gladiator sandals, denim and all white sneakers are more closet necessities of the season. Teen Vogue’s “Top Ten Spring Fashion Trends” article reports pairing vibrant patterns with basics (such as a plain white tee or a pair of worn out jeans), for a “cool and refreshed” look.
So, as the weather gets warmer and the heavy apparel goes into storage, think about adding a touch of color, a pair of 90’s sunglasses, or maybe a jean jacket to your “OOTD.” All the while, remember your style and don’t be afraid to flaunt it!
